Artist Statement

I mainly explore the human condition, sensitivity and cruelty, self- transformation and feminism using the media of painting and sculpture. The metamorphosis of internal impulses in the external world, re-creation, disintegration of the self and the transition of wildlife into the culture. The ongoing series of portraits, "That's not us", explore the human condition. An intricate inner construction of sensitivity and cruelty, self- transformation and dialogue between parts of the whole. I research and comprehend the nature of human ferocity and fear and seek peace in the darkest corners of consciousness. Loneliness, isolation, and terror are revealed by colours and plastics. The paintings in this series are colourful and volumetric and transform tension into decoration. Continuing the expressionist tradition and creating a biotic construction. Mixing and sculpting with picturesque bright oil paint. The paintings in this series are colourful and volumetric, turning inner tension into decoration. All this is intertwined in me with knots and into intricate clusters, turning them into decorative shapes.
